Research Interests
Dr. Vigil is interested in developing and validating new models and computational methods for simulating the behavior of multiphase processes, particularly as they relate to important technological problems such as nanoparticle and advanced materials synthesis, enhanced oil recovery and aquifer remediation, and development of novel reaction engineering and separation approaches for algaculture.
Biography
Dr. Vigil received his Ph.D. (1990) and M.S. (1986) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Mexico (1985).
