All Engineering Research Centers are administered from a lead-institution. For CBiRC this is Iowa State University (ISU). The CBiRC adminstration and research center is located in the Biorenewables Complex (BRL) on the west side of campus (MAP). The Biorenewables Complex (Video) has achieved Gold certification under the U.S. Green Building Council’s (LEED) certification system. CBiRC is affiliated with other ISU programs focused on the bioeconomy including the Bioeconomy Institute, Biobased Industry Center, and Biocentury Research Farm.
