CBiRC will conduct regular, recurring working meetings—held annually in late September or early October—for the purpose of facilitating on-going collaboration and communication among the Center’s faculty, staff and students; industry members and innovation partners; and education partners.
CBiRC 4th Annual Working Meeting
Sunday, September 30 – Tuesday, October 2, 2012
The purpose of this meeting is to facilitate on-going collaboration and communication among CBiRC members, including faculty, staff, students, and industry partners. It is designed to provide an intellectually stimulating review of the Center’s progress and performance to date, and to create a foundation for informed dialogue surrounding CBiRC’s research thrusts, testbeds, and education programs. The meeting will also likely include a Technology Fair— a unique opportunity for students, in particular, to interact with the Center’s industry Members, not only to learn about technologies they’re developing, but also about employment and internship opportunities with these companies.
The location of the meeting will once again be Iowa State University’s Howe Hall and the Biorenewables Research Laboratory (BRL) building, the Gateway Hotel & Conference Center, and Reiman Gardens or the Alumni Center. Shuttle service will be provided between meeting venues for those members coming from off-campus.
Because attendance at the event is restricted to the Center’s internal members, all program content will be treated as strictly confidential.
SPECIAL NOTE: Registration is required so that we can adequately plan for meals, meeting space, hotel guest rooms, shuttles, etc.
