CBiRC Working Meetings

CBiRC will conduct regular, recurring working meetings—held annually in late September or early October—for the purpose of facilitating on-going collaboration and communication among the Center’s faculty, staff and students; industry Members; innovation partners; pre-college partners; and Scientific Advisory Board. The first such meeting will take place October 4–6, 2009, as described below.

1st Annual Meeting
Sunday through Tuesday, October 4–6, 2009

About the Meeting

CBiRC is hosting its first annual meeting in October, 2009. For this inaugural event, a number of visiting and prospective member companies are being invited to participate on October 4 and 5. Internal research and business meetings for CBiRC faculty, staff and students will follow on October 6. All events will be held in Ames, Iowa, at Iowa State University's Scheman Building and Memorial Union, the Gateway Hotel and Conference Center, and at the Reiman Gardens.

The meeting is designed to provide a professionally stimulating review of the Center's progress and create a foundation for an informed dialogue surrounding CBiRC's research thrusts and education programs.

Meeting Goals
