Industry Program

CBiRC industrial collaboration and innovation efforts will include partnering with large- and medium-scale established companies as well as start-ups and small businesses. Industrial partners will come from five key sectors focused on moving biorenewable chemical technology forward, including petrochemical producers, agricultural product processors, chemical catalyst providers, biocatalyst providers, and process licensors. CBiRC initially will form its industrial partnership with the firms committed to membership in the proposal and will expand the membership to include more firms in each of these sectors. Partnerships with start-ups and small businesses will help move technology forward into the commercial realm and provide internship opportunities for CBiRC students. The members will be engaged in the research, education, and technology transfer/innovation efforts of the ERC through the Industrial Advisory Board.
